So in other news, I've ridden in a police car for the first time.
BUT! it was NOT in the backseat, or the driver's seat for that matter.
I went to leave my house 10 minutes before an event started at my church (which was plenty of time to make it there and get a seat) when I realized that all of our vehicles were gone because my famliy was all scattered for the evening. I tried calling my other options, and finally realized, it was time to start walking. so I slipped on tennis shoes and grabbed my purse and left. I don't exactly look like your average hitchhiker or a streetwalker. I"ve got a purse and a nice shirt on with jeans and tennis shoes, but it was dusk, and I guess this was a strange sight for the passing policeman. Because a few minutes later he stops and offers me a ride and I make it to the church 5 minutes late instead of 25! kinda freaked me out because there it was dark by then, there was a huge german shepherd in the backseat, he's a cop!, and I mean, a girl doesn't just hop in strange cars now adays. But I decided to trust in small town police values, and God providing this ride for me and I"m sorry officer Alexander for even doubting your honor.
wow this is going to be a hard quarter- 13 hours and it's double jury time. and technically I"m also in chamber singers this quarter so really it's 14 hours. sheesh! one note at a time as a special someone is always reminding me! Good luck with your quarter guys~
